Katie Glaser-LeClere, MSPT, PCS, is a Board-Certified Specialist in pediatric physical therapy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University and has been practicing for 10 years as a physical therapist. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Pediatric Section, and is also an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor.
Katie has practiced in multiple settings including inpatient, outpatient, public and private schools, sports facilities, and home/community. Her abilities range from training the elite athlete to treating the fragile infant. She has personal experience as a National Medalist in acrobatics and has extensive transdiciplinary training in the gross motor, fine motor, speech/language, vision, orientation/mobility, feeding, and special education areas. Her professional focus has targeted children with severe and multiple impairments, from the child who can't stand up, to the child who can't sit still.
Katie is committed to improving the lives of the children and families in her community. She volunteers as a CareWear member providing handmade apparel to the newborns at Frederick Memorial Hospital, as a Grant Writer benefiting children at her local elementary school, and as a Freelance Writer offering health education topics through Frederick's Child Magazine.
